The Quinny Races are back for another weekend of dusty boots, colourful characters and more country atmosphere than you can poke a stick at.

The 2027 program is stacked with new events, vendors and family activities. *Tickets are strictly limited, sign up to make sure you don’t miss out.

WHAT’S ON

More country atmosphere than you can poke a stick at.

  • Country tunes and Aussie classics get the boots stomping early, then a late-night DJ takes over and carries the dance floor into the wee hours. A fitting finish to a big Quinny Saturday.

    It ain’t all about the horses. From ‘Drag ya Bag’ to dog racing, kids foot races and the dash-for-cash, there’s something for everyone… no matter how many legs you’ve got.

  • Gymkhana takes over the middle of the track in the morning, with barrel racing, bending, flag races, walk-trot-gallop, sack races, Mintie and egg-and-spoon chaos. Juniors, seniors and masters battle it out for ribbons, trophies and bragging rights.

    The Donkey Society of WA brings obstacle courses, relays and the much-anticipated donkey race. Plenty of laughs, plenty of chaos and a very loyal fan club.

    Camping is sorted, hot showers, toilets and three nights sleeping amongst the picturesque Quindanning hills. Gates swing open Friday and most roll out Sunday in search of the Quindanning Pub.

  • Introducing our new trackside event that’s guaranteed to make the ground rumble. Heavy horses take main stage in Whoppas and Walers, lining up for 400m of horsepower and heart.

  • Two men at an outdoor refreshment stand, one in a tank top and baseball cap, the other in a green shirt and wide-brimmed hat, filling a glass from a cooler labeled 'ICE WATER'.

    Food and bev is covered. Main bar from 12pm, wine and cheese bar for the fancy folk, and plenty of food trucks to feed the hungry mob.

    The kids don’t miss out - playgrounds, foot races, face painting and Lego-lawn create the perfect storm of sugar, competition and creativity. Consider it Quinny’s unofficial sleep strategy for Easter Sunday.

  • Trackside action runs all arvo with front row seats to the Quindanning Cup, the Jumbo Memorial Sprint, the Powderpuff Derby and other crowd favourites.

THREE-DAY RUNSHEET

Grab your swag and strap in for Easter weekend, Quindanning style.

  • Fri.

    Gates open at 4PM as campers roll in to stake their spots. Horse floats are unhooked, beers are cracked and the long weekend officially begins. Food vans are set up near the bar with fish and chips and other Good Friday options to keep everyone fed.

  • Sat.

    The main event. Saddle up for a full day of Quinny Races flavour - a stacked schedule of gymkhana events, trackside races (we lets the dogs have a crack too), the coveted Quinny Cup and some of the cult-classic novelty events. 'Drag ya Bag’ included - if you know, you know.

  • Sun.

    Coffee and cooked breakfasts for the survivors. Slow pack downs, sore heads and big smiles. Floats, caravans and utes peel off.

    Dont miss the Quindanning Pub on the way out; the watering-hole performing Sunday resurrections.

  • Every Easter long weekend.

  • No, this is a cash only event. We are trialling a Starling setup at the bar however mobile reception is extremely limited and can’t be relied upon.

  • Yes - tickets are limited and required for entry and camping.

  • Yes. Camping is available Fri–Sun. Hot showers and toilets are on site.

  • Yes, but double-axle caravans must camp in a designated area, just follow signage and crew instructions

  • Campfires are allowed when conditions are safe - this is subject to local authority approval.

    All fires must be contained and attended.

  • At campsites, yes.

    Strictly no BYO for Easter Saturday.

    Please drink responsibly and dispose of cans/rubbish properly.

  • Absolutely! General Admission gets you entry for the day.

  • Reception is scarce and usually hiding behind a hill. Don’t count on it.

  • No, please BYO drinking water.
