Ride into folklore,
Ride the Quinny.
The Quindanning Picnic Races welcome riders of all ages and experience levels (except professional jockeys), from first-timers to seasoned locals. With a full day of riding across Gymkhana, Donkeys and Trackside events, there’s a place for everyone in the saddle.
Gymkhana Events
Gymkhana kicks off at 8.30am sharp and is a key part of the day for all riders. To be eligible to ride in the afternoon Trackside events, riders must nominate for a minimum of three Gymkhana events. Once this requirement is met, riders are welcome to take part in as many additional Gymkhana events as they like.
Note: This does not include the RWWA registered events, which have separate nomination requirements.
RWWA Events
The Quindanning Cup and Wiggins Stakes are RWWA registered events and have separate nomination requirements. Riders must nominate and pay a $20 nomination fee per event. Nomination fees can be paid directly via the website.
Riders are required to download, complete and submit all four nomination forms as part of the RWWA process. Completed forms must be submitted to the Quindanning Picnic Race Club no later than 13 March. Late or incomplete nominations cannot be accepted.
